RAIN
Yes rain is almost always welcome, it replenishes our water supply and irrigates our crops. BUT you can have too much of a good thing.
Have you ever wondered why Florida tomatoes are so costly at this time of year. If the rain reaches the plant in large quantities the fruit cracks open with all the moisture, and the flavor is diminished.To avoid this they have to be grown under cover. Providing cover increases operational costs.
